On 31st July 2018 (Srivilambi Aadi Sadayam), Thirumanjanam was performed at Vaduvur Sri Kothandaraswamy Temple. The Kavacham is removed from Utsavar for the Thirumeni sevai. The Thirumanjanam began with water followed by milk, curds, honey, raw coconut water, sandal paste etc. After Thirumanjanam, Ramar, Seetha, Lakshman and Hanuman were decorated beautifully with flower garland. Several astikas participated in the Thirumanjanam and had the blessings of Sri Kothandaramaswamy.
