On 8th August 2018 (Srivilambi Aadi Mirugaseerisham), the 2nd day of the Pavithrotsavam was celebrated in a grand manner at Sri Srinivasa Perumal Temple, Kodavasal. On the occasion, Perumal was decorated beautifully with flower garlands of jasmine, kanakambaram, thulasi and several ornaments like pendants, chains and adorned a beautiful golden crown. After alankaram, Sri Srinivasa Perumal ascended the Garudan and had a purappadu in the temple streets. Srinivasa Perumal, Sri Chakkarathazhwar and Srisadari had Thirumanjanam. Several astikas participated in the Pavithrotsavam and had the blessings of Sri Srinivasa Perumal.
