On 13th August 2018 (SriVilambi-Aadi-Pooram), ThiruAadi Pooram was celebrated grandly at Sri Varadaraja Perumal Temple, Pondicherry. On the occasion, Perumal adorned orange silk vasthram and Aandal wore light pink silk saree. Perumal was decorated with a ornaments long kaasu malai, maanga malai, several pendants, chains, a beautiful green golden colored big crown with green stone fixed and flower garlands of sevvanthi, kanakambaram, thulasi, rose and jasmine. With saaya kondai, several ornaments and flower garlands, Aandal had a great alankaram. After alankaram, Perumal and Aandal gave scintillating darshan to the astikas. Several devotees participated in the ThiruAadi Pooram and had the blessings of Divyadampathis.
