Ekadasi purappadu was grandly celebrated at Sri Devarajaswami Temple, Kanchipuram Divya Desam on 22nd August 2018 (SriVilambi Aavani Pooradam) in the presence of HH Srimath Azhagiyasingar (HH Srivan Satakopa Sri Ranganatha Mahadesikan) of Sri Ahobila Mutt. HH is observing Chaturmasya vratam at Kanchipuram this year and will be camping (parivaram sametha) there until September 25, 2018.
On the occasion of Ekadasi, in the evening, Sri Varadaraja Perumal with His Ubhaya Nachiyar had Thiruveethi purappadu in the Temple Streets of Kanchipuram. Sri Devadirajan and Ubhayanachiyar had a great alankaram with several flower garlands and ornaments. Many devotees participated in this event and had the blessings of Divyadampathis.
