The Mahasamprokshana utsavam commenced in a grand manner at Sri Srinivasa Perumal Temple, Paapanasam, Thanjavur, on 29th August 2018 (Aavani Uthiratathi). For the first day (Mudhal Kaalam), the samprokshanam was performed with arulicheyal and Vedaparayana Goshti. For that day’s event, Sri Pankajavalli sametha Sri Srinivasa Perumal had nice alankaram with several pendants and Maangamalai and also adorned golden crown on his head. Thayars wore grand Kaasumalai and auspicious mangalyam with garlands spreading fragrance everywhere. Several devotees participated and received the blessings of divyathambathis.
