On 30th August 2018, Srivilambi Varusha Aavani month Revathi Nakshatra purappadu for Sri Ranganathar took place at Thiruvallikeni. On the occasion, Sri Ranganathar wore a beautiful combination of orange and green silk vasthram. Perumal was decorated beautifully with long kaasu malai, green stone fixed pendant, several chains. He adorned an attractive flower garlands of jasmine, rose and sevvanthi. The Ubhaya Nachiyars had a great alankaram with several ornaments. After alankaram, along with Thayars Perumal had a purappadu through the Siriya maada veedhis. Several astikas participated in the purappadu and had the blessings of Sri Ranganathar.
