The annual Pavitrotsavam at Sri Padmavathi Ammavari Temple, Thiruchanur commenced in a grand manner on September 23 2018, (Purattasi- Sadayam). Homam was performed in yagasala and Thirumanjanam to the processional deity of Goddess Padmavathi took place grandly. On the second day (24th September 2018), Thayar had Thirumanjanam followed by grand alankaram with Pavithra Samarpanam to Sri Alarmelmangai Thayar. Lots of asthikas participated in that auspicious event and received the blessings of Thayar.
