On 21st September 2018(Purattasi- Thiruvonam), the 750th Thirunakshatra Utsavam of Swami Vedanta Desikan celebrated grandly in His thiru avatharasthalam, Thoopul, Sri Vilakkoli Perumal Temple. In the morning, grand purappadu of Swami Desikan took place in Thanga Pallakku (Golden Palanquin) to Sri Devathirajan Sannidhi in anjali hastham. A large number of devotees participated which resembled an ocean and received the blessings of Swami Desikan and Sri Varadaraja Perumal on that auspicious day.
