Srivilambi Navarathri Utsavam was celebrated grandly at Sri Vaidya Veeraraghava Perumal Temple, Thiruvallur between October 10 and 18, 2018. During the utsavam, Sri Kanakavalli Thayar as well as Sri Veeraraghava Perumal along with Ubhaya Nachiyars in beautiful alankarams had ul purappadu in the temple premises.
The first four days of navarathri utsavam coincided with the Days 6 to 9 of Adivan Satakopan Thirunakshatra Utsavam (Purattasi Kettai). The Divyadampathis and Acharyan had thiruveedi purappadu on the occasion.
On Vijayadasami Day (October 19, 2018), Paarvettai utsavam took place with Perumal having thiruveedi purappadu on Kudhirai vahanam.
The eighth day of the utsavam was celebrated on October 17, 2018 (Purattasi Utthiradam). On this day, 34th Srimath Azhagiyasingar purappadu took place along with the Divyadampathis. On Day 7 (Purattasi Pooradam), 43rd Srimath Azhagiyasingar purappadu took place along with the Divyadampathis.
