The 2nd day of the Dolothsavam was celebrated grandly at Sholinghur Sri Narasimhar temple on 21st October 2018 (SriVilambi – Aippasi – Sadayam). In the evening, Sri Bhaktosithan Perumal (also known as Akkarakani and Takkaan) with His consorts had a great alankaram. Sri Amirthavalli Thayar, who descends the hill during the Purattasi and Aippasi months, and Sudhavalli Thayar, both adorned muthangi crowns and accompanied Sri Bhaktosithan on either sides during the purappadu. Grand satrumurai and sevakalam took place. Several astikas participated and had the blessings of Thayars and Perumal.
