On 26th October 2018 (Srivilambi Aippasi Bharani), Vellikizhamai purappadu for Sri Perundevi Thayar took place grandly at Sri Varadharaja Perumal Temple, Kanchipuram. Thayar adorned yellow and green silk vasthram and was decorated with several ornaments and tricolor garland of kanakambaram, jasmine and thulasi. She gave scintillating darshan to the astikas during purappadu. Several astikas took part in the Sukravara Purappadu and had the blessings of Sri Perundevi Thayar.
