On 6th November 2018 (Srivilambi Aippasi Chithirai); being Deepavali Thirunaal, Sri Perumal along with His consorts had purappadu at Thiruvallikeni Sri Parthasarathy Temple, Chennai. Also, the 5th day of Sri Manavala Mamunigal avatara utsavam (Aippasi Moolam) was celebrated. Swami Manavala Mamunigal also had purappadu along with Perumal. Grand satrumurai and sevakalam took place with arulicheyal and veda ghosti. Several astikas took part in the purappadu and had the blessings of Divya Dampathis and the Acharya.
