Swathi Homam would be performed in Sri Lakshmi Narasimhan Sannidhi at Poovarsankuppam.This place is one of the famous among Narasimha swamy temples.It is believed that,immediately after killing Hiranyakasipu,His fierce came down due to appearence of Sri Lakshmi.Here,we could have darshan of Sri Narasimhar with Sri Lakshmi on his left lap and right leg on the pedestal.The pedestal has lions on either side and Garuda at the base. His hands holding Lakshmi on his left hand and right hand with Abhaya Hastham.
