Noothanalaya MahaSamprokshanam was performed in Sri Srinivasa Perumal temple at Mohanur, between 14 September 2021 and16 September 2021.
Moolavar:- Sri Srinivasar; Thayar:- Sri Padmavathi. There are shrines of Sri Andal and Sri Chakrathazhwar inside the temple and Sri Anjaneyar under Vanni tree.
As a part of the occasion, thirumanjanam was performed for the utsava murthy(s), Visesha alankaram for moolavar as well as utsavar was done so aesthetically every day. Alankaram for Moolavar – Sri Venkataramanar resembles same as that of Thirumala Tirupathi style. Homam was also performed in all the three days following the sastras. Ghopooja was also performed during the occasion. Mahapoornahuthi was performed on the final day. Photos of the Samprokshanam can be viewed below:
