Brahmotsavam commenced on 12 September 2021,Sunday in Sri Devanathaswamy Temple at Thiruvaheendrapuram,near Cuddalore. Chitirai Brahmotsavam was postponed as per government rules due to pandemic situation and is celebrated currently.
On Thursday,during Purappadu; Sri Devanathaperumal was in Garuda Vahanam.Sri Devanathaperumal ,dressed up in chakravarthy attire,who rules and saves the bhoolokham,adorned with thiruvabharanams and flowers,with a smile on his face,along with sengkhol in His hand,blesses the devotees.Garudazhwar,who serves as His Vehicle,looks majestic with pride.The Alankaram of Perumal and Garudar looks complimentary to each other.Photos of GarudaSevai can be viewed below:
