Pavitrotsavam begins in Sri Alarmelmangai Thayar Temple at Tiruchanoor 18 september 2021.On Day 1, Vishesha Thirumanjanam was performed for Padmavathi and alankaram was done aesthetically. Pavitrotrotsavam is conducted for the sanctification of the temple premises.
Day-2, 19 September 2021, homam was performed as a part of Pavitrotsavam, devotees can view the pictures taken during the utsavam which is shared below:
