HH Sri Madhurakavi Vanamamalai Ramanuja Jeeyar Swamy, along with the mutt sishyas, reached Sri Makara Nedunkuzhaikathar Temple at Thenthirupperai for Mangalasasanam on 02 October 2021, Saturday.
Thenthirupperai is located along tiruchendur-tirunelveli route. It is one of the Nava tirupathi- one of 108 Divya Desams . It is situated on the banks of Thamiraparani river. It is located 5 km from Alwar Thirunagari. The temple is referred to as Sukra sthalam.
Swamy was welcomed by the residents of the Thenthirupperai, with harathi in front of their houses when swamy proceeded his walk on the streets towards the temple. He was honoured by Parivattam, by the temple priests and he was welcomed with Poorna kumbha mariyadhai. Sishyas served him with samaram and umbrella and he was honoured in all the sannidhis after mangalasanam. Photos captured during the event is shared below:
