07 October 2021, Plava varusha, Purattasi-21,Thursday;Navaratri utsavam commences in Sri Kodandaramar temple at Madurantakam on 06 October 2021.
On day-1, Vishesha thirumanjanam was performed for the utsava murthy, and Swamy desikan as apart of Navaratri utsavam and Swami Desikan avatara utsavam. Celebrations are organised and the temple premises is decorated beautifully.Alankaram of the deities was so aesthetic, and utsava murthy along with Swamy Desikan blessed the devotees.
