Thirunakshatra mahotsavam celebrations of Sri Vedantha Desikan commenced on 06 October 2021 in Sri Srinivasa perumal temple at Mylapore in a grand manner. Ten days utsavam is celebrated, in which day-2 morning Palakku.
In the evening, Day-2; Swamy was beautifully adorned with flower garlands and jewels and Purappadu took place in Surya Prabhai. In all thge days,both morning and evening different alankaram was done for Swamy Desikan , following which Sattrumurai took place. Alankaram was beautifully performed with various combinations of pushpam and abharanams. Photos of the utsavam can be viewed below:
