Thirunakshatra mahotsavam celebrations of Sri Vedantha Desikan commenced on 06 October 2021 in a grand manner in Sri Anandhalakshmi Sametha Sri Lakshmi Hayagrivaswamy Sannidhi, Manimandapam at Villivakkam. Alankaram, Aradhanam,Sahasranama Archanai for Sri Anandalakshmi Thayar, Sattrumurai, chanting Slokas of Sri Vedanta Desikan takes place every day.
Day3- 08 OCTOBER 2021, On occasion of Avatara utsavam, navarathri utsavam also coincides . Alankaram was beautifully performed with various combinations of pushpam and abharanams. Swamy was adorned as Sri Mahalakshmi thayar thirukolam, blessing the devotees as Dayadevi.
On day-4: 09 OCTOBER 2021, Swamy Desikan’s Paduka Saharsram was chanting during the utsavam on in the afternoon.
Day-4 evening, Swamy Desikan was in the disguise of Sri thiruvengadamudaiyan. As it is purattasi Saturday, devotees had darshan of Srinivasaperumal in Swamy Desikan, who is believed to be an incarnation of Malayappaswamy Himself.
