Navarathri utsavam celebrations commenced on 06 October 2021 in enthusiastic manner in Sri Perundevi nayika Sametha Sri Abhista Varadharajaperumal temple at Kuruchi.
On 08 October 2021, Friday, Thayar adorned so beautifully in blue colour silk saree, alankaram was beautifully performed with various combinations of kadhambam malai with multi coloured flowers and with varieties of abharanams. Friday thirumanjanam was performed to Sri Perundevi thayar, as a part of navaratri celebrations. Purappadu took place inside the temple premises with chanting of Siriya Thirumadal, followed by Unjal Sevai.
