Thirunakshatra mahotsavam celebrations of Sri Vedantha Desikan commenced on 06 October 2021 in a grand manner in Sri Kothandarama swamy temple at Madhurantakam.On Day 3- Noodhana Mutthangi samarpanam to Sri Kodhandaramar Alankaram, Aradhanam, Sattrumurai takes place every day.
On Day 5, as Avatara utsavam, navarathri utsavam also coincides, Vishesha alankaram was performed for all deities and for Swamy desikan also. Alankaram was beautifully performed with tri-colour combinations of pushpam and abharanams. Thayar was in beautiful yellow and maroon silk vastram with flowers of different colours and thiruvabharanams, blessing Swamy Desikan during his avatara utsavam celebrations.
