Thirunakshatra mahotsavam celebrations of Sri Vedantha Desikan commenced on 06 October 2021 in a grand manner in Sri Anandhalakshmi Sametha Sri Lakshmi Hayagrivaswamy Sannidhi, Manimandapam at Villivakkam. Alankaram, Aradhanam, Sahasranama Archanai for Sri Anandalakshmi Thayar, Sattrumurai, Veda parayanam,and chanting Slokas of Sri Vedanta Desikan takes place every day.Every day beautiful kolam was drawn with rice flour, in connection with the sloka chanted on that day.
Day 7:- 13 OCTOBER 2021, As a part of Avatara utsavam, navarathri utsavam also coincides . Alankaram was beautifully performed with various combinations of pushpamalai and thriuvabharanams. In the morning, Devanayaka panchasat parayanam was performed. In the evening, Swamy Desikan adorned as Vennai thazi Kannan with pot full of butter
Day-8: 14 OCTOBER 2021, Swamy Desikan’s Sri Garuda panchasat was chanted in the utsavam in the morning. In the evening, Swamy was adorned with Muthangi.
Day-9: 15 october 2021,Swamy Desikan’s “Saranagathi deepikai “parayanam in the morning. In the evening, Swamy desikan was in the disguise of Sri Saraswathi Thirukolam playing Veena
