Thirunakshatra mahotsavam celebrations of Sri Vedantha Desikan commenced on 06 October 2021 in a grand manner in Sri Vaidya vaeeraraghava swamy temple at Tiruvallur . Alankaram, Aradhanam, Sattrumurai took place on Day 1 to day 9, very enthusiastically. Alankaram was beautifully performed with various combinations of pushpam and abharanams, which looked very graceful and relishing .Every day , Dual Purappadu of Divya dampathis with three big umbrellas is enthralling
On Day 6, Thayar was adorned beautifully in Pink colour saree and purappadu took place within the temple premises. Swamy Desikan was decorated with many garlands which very graceful.
Day-7, Perumal adorned as Sri Kothandaramar blessed the devotees during Swamy Desikan Thirunakshatra utsavam.
On Day 8:(13 October 2021) Thayar was in multi colour silk vastram with flowers of different colours and thiruvabharanams, blessing Swamy Desikan during his avatara utsavam celebrations. Divya Dampathis adorned Kannadi Arai.
On Day-9: (14 october 2021), Perumal was adorned with precious-stone studded attire. Swamy Desikan also adorned with same type of stone studded attire and beautiful garlands in alankaram, which makes devotees ecstatic.
