On 19 October 2021, Pavithrotsavam took place in Sri Yoga Narasimhar temple at Sogathur for sanctification of the temple premises.
Sri Yoga Narasimhar temple is in the route from Vandavasi to Thindivanam road. The Deities are Sri Yoga Narasimhar, Sri Amirthavalli Thayar. This temple is 1500 years old. Here, Utsavar Sri Narasimhar is giving darshan in Nithya Garuda Sevai. Administartion is under the control of Ahobila Mutt.
On this occasion, Vishesha Thirumanjanam, Ankurarpanam, Pavithramalai samarpanam, Yagasalai pujai, homam, thiruvaradhanam, Veda parayanam and Aruliseyal goshti took place with minimum number of Bhagawadas.
