Pavithrotsavam commenced in Sri Venugopalaswamy temple at Azhisoor for sanctification of the temple premises on 20 October 2021. Sri Venugopalaswamy temple is located in Kanchipuram District. Main deities are Sri Venugopalaswamy and Sri Vedavalli Thayar.
Pavitrotsavam is planned to be performed for three days between 20 October 2021 and 22 October 2021. Every day, Thirumanjanam, Ankurarpanam, Pavithramala samarpanam, Yagasalai pujai, homam, thiruvaradhanam, Veda parayanam and Sattrumurai takes place with minimum number of Bhagawadas.
