Unjal utsavam commenced on 24 October 2021, in Sri Deivanayaga Perumal at Vanamamalai, Nanguneri.
On 02 November 2021: Sri Deivanayaga Perumal and Sri Varamangai Thayar adorned beautifully in green colour silk garments, Sowri kondai for thayar, and with simple flower garlands for Sri Varamangai Thayar Samedha, Sri Deivanayagan were in asthanam in newly made glass mandapam blessed the devotees.
Glass Mandapam was newly constructed for Sri Varamangai Godha Sametha Sri Vanamamalai Perumal, under the supervision of HH- 31th pontiff Sri Madhurakavi Ramanuja Jeeyar. On 01 November 2021, Aippasi-15, Monday, Krishnapaksha Ekadasi, Divya Dampathis came in procession from the temple to the newly constructed Glass mandapam. Deepa Harathi was performed and all the devotees had the darshan of Divya Dampathis.
