Pavithrotsavam took place in a grand manner for Sri Amaruviappan Perumal temple at Therezhundur.
The temple conducts Thirupavithrotsavam in a grand manner with pavithrotsavam events such as ankurarpanam, Kumbha pradishtai, Adhivasa homam, Thirumanjanam, Prabhanda arambam, which commenced on 06 November 2021. Today, Periyazhwar thirumozhi (Divya prabhandha parayanam) commenced in the morning. SamaVedam and Yajur Vedam was chanted by the Veda pandits.
Homam was performed in the morning, and Pavitramaalai sathupadi looked fantastic, adding beauty to the graceful looks of Sri Amaruviappan.
