Sravanam purappadu of Sri Poigai Azhwar and Sri Vedantha Desikan took place in Sri Vaidya Veeraraghavaswami temple at Tiruvallur.
Aippasi Sravanam – On the occasion of thirunakshatram of Sri Poigai Azhwar and monthly thirunakshatram of Swami Vedantha Desikan, Ull purappadu of Sri veeraraghavaswami with His consorts, along with Sri Poigai azhwar, Sri Thirumangai Azhwar, Sri Vedantha Desikan, took place in the temple premises.
Thirumanjanam, Alankaram, Aaradhanam, Vishesha Sattrumurai took place on the day of thirunakshatram. Alankaram was performed beautifully with Muthu Kireedom, samandhi maalai with a combination of vrikshi and dhavanam. Alankaram for all the Acharyal was performed in an aesthetic manner, which looked so wonderful. Purappadu of the three Acharyal was a relishing sight to the devotees.
