Unjal utsavam is celebrated for SriRanganayaki in Sri Ranganathaswami temple at Srirangam. Everyday, Thayar comes in preocession from Sannidhi to the unjal mandapam. Thayar is adorned in different alankaram everyday.
On Day-5, 10 November 2021, Thayar was adorned in silk garments, with Abhaya Hastham made of pearls, which was the highlight of the sathupadi. This signifies that, if we surrender to Her, She would definitely shower her Dayaa(Grace) and only by the recommendation of Thayar, devotees receive the Dayaa of Perumal very faster. This Sathupadi, shows the significance of surrendering to her, which is the very essence of SriVaishnavism.
