On 15/11/2021 night Kaisika Ekadasi celebrations — 365 Shawl was wrapped upon Sri Ranganathaswami, which was performed in Arjuna Mandapam in Srirangam Periyakoil. Perumal was adorned in beautiful yellow silk garments. Karpoora Harathi was performed. Devoteed throng from various places across state, as it is believed that darshan of Srirangan on this day relieve them of their sins.
During the utsavam, Arayars of the temple, sung in praise of Srirangan and Kaisika Puranam was read which is considered to be holy script to hear. In rememberance of Parasara Battar who attained Acharyan thiruvadi after reading Kaisika Ekadasi mahanmiyam, Brahmaratha mariyadhai was performed for Arayar Swami who read the puranam this year.
