On 20 November 2021, Unjal utsavam commenced for Sri kamalavalli Nachiyar at Uraiyur temple. Thayar was adorned in silk saree with beautiful Sathupadi in Unjal mandapam. Unjal mandapam was decorated with different varieties of flowers. Thayar was adorned with Andal Kondai and flowers decorated in kondai and big Vrikshi maalai with other combinations of sampanki and davanam, varieties of thiruvabharanam like Coral maalai, and diamond ear stud with tanglings, with pleasing smile on her face, looked beautiful.
