On 14 December 2021, Vaikunta Ekadasi was celebrated in a grand manner in Sri Ranganathaswami temple at Srirangam. In the night, Rapathu utsavam commenced. Perumal adorned in Rathnangi, stone studded kireedom, Pearl garland, multi coloured kadambha maalai, with parrots on the garland, looked marvelous during procession, and gave darshan to the devotees in thousand pillared mandapam.
