On 18 December 2021, on Sunday night, Pournami Garudasevai celebrations took place in a grand manner between 7p.m and 9p.m in Tirumala Tirupati temple. Perumal Purappadu took place in all the four mada veedhi and the devotees got a blissful darshan during Pournami.
Garuda Vahanam :- It is believed that, darshan of Garudaseva would bring knowledge. Garudazhwar, who fly with the wings of wisdom, would bless the devotees and all the sins of devotees will be removed.
Sri Venkateshwara perumal was adorned in Vairamudi, layers of golden kaasumalai, varities of thiruvabharanams, huge tri-colour kadambham garlands and Garudazhwar holding His lotus feet, which was a wonderful and blissful darshan in the four mada veedhi. Deepa harathi was performed during the purappadu. People thronged to the place to have a darshan of Garudasevai.
