On 01 January 2022, Plava varusham, Margazhi- 17, Saturday; kettai Nakshatram, Azhwar thirunakshatram was celebrated in a grand manner in Sri Ranganathaswami temple at Thirumandangudi. Vishesha alankaram, aradhanam and sattrumurai took place. Felicitation was done for Azhwar with maalai mariyaadhai. Perumal blessed the devotees on Garudavahanam and Azhwar was mounted on Hamsa Vahanam, gave darshan in Ashthanam. The descendants of Thondaradipodi azhwar participated in the utsavam and served by their bhajans in praise of Perumal. Devotees had a blissful darshan of Perumal and Acharyal on New year day.
