Adhyayana utsavam commenced in a very grand manner in Sri Amaruviappan Sannidhi at Therezhundur. Pagal pathu utsavam is being celebrated from 3rd January 2022. Perumal and all the Azhwars are assembled in a manimandapam inside the temple premises, where thiruvaimozhi pasurams were recited. Perumal was adorned in different alankaram, with varieties of thiruvabharanams, and beautiful floral garlands everyday. Azhwars were felicitated everyday with maalai mariyadhai and SriSadari from Perumal. The devotees had a blissful darshan in all the days.
On Day-2, (04 January 2022) Perumal looked beautiful stone studded shankam, chakram and other thiruvabharanam, abhayahastham and thieuvadi, and beautiful kadambha maalai. Pewriyazhwar Mangalasasanam was performed and felicitation was done for all the azhwars.
On Day-3, (05 January 2022) Perumal looked like Sri Dwarakadeesan. Perumal was adorned with beautiful turban with hair accessories and peacock feather on it, shankam and chakram in velvet and pearl work on it, looked beautiful.
