Pagal pathu utsavam commenced in Sri Soundararajan Perumal temple at Nagapattinam on 03 January 2022. Vishesha alankaram, aradhanam was performed and recitation of thiruvaimozhi took place by the Parayana Goshti. On Day-1, Perumal was adorned with andal kondai, Coral maalai, Muthusaram, Rathna abhayahastham, Rathnathiruvadi, with tri colour garland looked beautiful.
On Day-2, (04 January 2022), Perumal was adorned with Kireedom, Kaasumaalai and other antique thiruvabharanams, with kadambha maalai sathupadi looked wonderful.
On Day-3,(05 January 2022), Perumal was adorned with shankam, chakram, Mango haram, Pandian kondai, varieties of antique pendants, Rathna abhayahastham and thiruvadi, made the devotees enthralling. The beautiful garland enhanced the beauty of sathupadi.
Purappadu took place everyday evening and padiyetram took place which was a wonderful event during this utsavam. Devotees had a blissful darshan.
