On 13 January 2022, Vaikunta Ekadasi utsavam was celebrated in a grand manner in Sri Rukmini Thayar Samedha Sri Parthasarathy Perumal, at Triplicane. Perumal Purappadu took place and Perumal with His consorts Sridevi, Bhoodevi gave darshan to the awaited devotees by His entry through the “sorka vaasal”. Alankaram was performed with varieties of thiruvabharanams and beautiful garlands. Purappadu took place inside the temple premises. Devotees had a blissful darshan of Perumal on Vaikunta ekadasi. As Bhogi coincided on the same day, Andal thirukalyanam was also performed in the temple. Sri Perumal and Sri Anadal gave darshan to the devotees in serthi sevai in Anandha vimanam.
