Theppotsavam was celebrated in a veru grand manner in Sri Mayuravalli samedha Sri Adhikesava perumal temple at Mylapore.Everyday, each one of the deities in the temple would adorn the theppa mandapam. Perumal along with His consorts and Peyazhwar was in different alankarams every day and gave darshan to the devotees in theppotsavam mandapam.
On the fourth day utsavam, in the evening, Sri Ramar, Sitadevi, Sri lakshmanar along with Sri hanuman in Sri Rama Pattabhisheka thirukolam and Sri Peyazhwar were present in theppa mandapam and came around the theppam. Following theppotsavam, Perumal Thiruveedhi purappadu took place later in the night.
On Day-5 of theppotsavam, Swami peyazhwar, thirumazhisai azhwarku upadesam thirukolam with swami Emperumaanar and swami manavala mamunigal in theppotsavam. Later, thiruveedhi purappadu of all the azhwars and acharyal took place.
