On 04 February 2022, Theppotsavam commenced in Sri Ranganathaswami temple at Srirangam.
On first day, 4th february 2022, In the morning, Namperumal came in procession from Moolasthanam and reached Rangavilasa mandapam and adorned kilikoodu and blessed the devotees in asthanam.
In the evening, Namperumal seated on Hamsavahanam, gave darshan to the devotees during purappadu during theppotsavam first day utsavam. Deepa Harathi took place and temple elephants Lakshmi and andal performed their respect to Namperumal during Purappadu.
