Today, on occasion of Rathasaptami, Perumal purappadu took place in Sri Ranganathaswami Temple at Thiruneermalai. Perumal came in procession on Surya prabhai Vahanam with seven horses. Today, is considered to be an auspicious day, as it is believed that Surya Bhagavan has enlightened the whole world on this day. Sriman Narayanan, the creator, blesses the devotees on Surya Prabhai.
