On 08 February 2022, Ratha Saptami purappadu took place in Sri Parthasarathy Perumal temple at Triplicane. In the morning, Perumal purappadu took place in the morning in Suryaprabhai Vahanam and thiruveddhi purappadu took place in th four mada veedhis. In the evening, Perumal along with his Sridevi, Bhoodevi was mounted on Chandraprabhai Vahanam and gave darshan to the devotees in the four mada veedhis. Purappadu along with two big thirukodai along with Parayana Goshti was an enthralling sight for the devotees.
