Today, being Masi Pournami, “Masi Magam Utsavam” took place in Sri Parthasarathi Perumal at Thiruvallikeni. Utsavam started at 5.30 am in Garudavahanam, and reached Marina beach and Theerthavari took place at 7.30 am. Sri Parthasarathi Perumal Theerthavari took place along with Sri Periyamedu Srinivasar along the shore. Chakrasnanam took place and many astikas took samudrasnanam during the time. Sri Vanamamalai Jeer Swamy also participated in the utsavam along with his sishyas.
Today morning, during Sri Parthasarati Perumal started in Garudavaanam, Sri Poigai Azhwar’s first Thiruvanandhadhi DivyaPrabandam and the second Thiruvandhadhi Divya Prabandam sung by Sri Boothathazhwar were recited by Prabhanda Goshti swamigal. In the Evening, Perumal came in procession to vahanam Hall in Sri Paramapathan Thirukolam for Sesha Vahanam Purappadu.
