On account of Masi Magam festival, Thiruther utsavam was celebrated in a grand manner for Sri Sudarshanavalli Vijayavalli samedha Sri Chakrapani Perumal in Sri Chakrapani temple at Kumbakonam on 17th February 2022.
Masi magam utsavam commenced on 9th February 2022 and Perumal was adorned in different alankaram everyday which was enthralling for the assembled devotees. Thiruther utsavam took place on the ninth day of Masi magam utsavam celebrations. Perumal and Ubhaya nachiyars were adorned with beautiful silk garments and varieties of thiruvabharanams and beautiful kadambha maalai. The posture and the peaceful smile on the face of ubhaya nachiyars vanishes all the sorrow and worries of the devotees.
