Dhavanotsavam commenced on 25th February 2022 in Sri Amirthavalli samedha Sri Sowmya Damodara Perumal temple at Villivakkam. Sathupadi of Perumal and thayar was in a wonderful manner.
On Day-03 of utsavam, 27th February 2022, Perumal and thayar came in procession to dhavana mandapam specially decorated near Sri Andal Sannidhi and they gave darshan to the devotees in asthanam. Sathupadi of Thayar and Perumal along with Sridevi, Bhoodevi nachiyars amidst the fruits and flowers in dhavana mandapam decoration was dazzling. Perumal and thayar twin Purappadu took place with two big thirukodai, which was an enthralling moment for the devotees.
