Masi Brahmotsavam is being celebrated in a very grand manner for the past 8 days, in Sri Rukmini samedha Sri Parthasarathy Perumal temple at Tiruvellikeni since 20 February 2022.

On 27th February 2022, being seventh day of utsavam, Perumal Purappadu took place in Thiruther in the morning. Throngs of people visited the temple just to have a glimpse of Perumal in Thiruther which came around the four mada streets, which was a grandeur event. Like any other vahanam, Purappadu in thiruther cannot be easily completed. With the sankalpam of Perumal ofcourse, Kainkaryaparas did a splendid job in twists and turns and holding the cables and wires coming across the streets, which was a challenging task. Thiruther came back to the temple in an organised manner with the coordination of many people. There is a saying in tamil, ”Oor koodi ther izhu”, such a difficult utsavam was completed successfully in Triplicane temple.

During Rathotsavam, general crowd, kainkarya paras, and on the otherside, Parayana Goshti were flooded and just filled the whole temple madastreets without even leaving gaps to move around.

In the evening, during thirumbukaal, Thotta thirumanjanam was performed and perumal along with His consorts Sridevi, Bhoodevi nachiyars were adorned with new silk garments and went in procession back to the temple.
