Today, being Sravana Nakshatram, Swami Desikan’s monthly thirunakshatram was celebrated in a grand manner in Sri Desikan Sannidhi, Sri Vilakkoli Perumal temple at Thoopul. Perumal Purappadu took place in the temple praharam and reached Swami Desikan Sannidhi. Swami Vedanta Desikan Purappadu took place inside the sannidhi. Veda Parayana Goshti recitation along with nadhaswaram music, purappadu was in an wonderful and peaceful manner. Assembled Devotees had a blissful darshan of Perumal and Acharyal on this Sravanam day.
