On January 20th 2016, Thai Ekadasi took place in a grand manner at Varadaraja Perumal Devasthanam, Salem. Sri Perumal along with His Consorts had beautiful alangaram and gave scintillating dharshan to the devotees. Grand satrumurai and sevakalam took place with arulicheyal and Parayana Ghosti. Many Bakthas participated in the Thai Ekadasi also called as Bishma Ekadasi and received the blessings of Divyadampathis.
