On 30th March 2018 (Hevilambi Panguni Pooram/Uthiram), Panguni Uthiram Utsavam was celebrated well at Sri Parthasarathy Perumal Temple, Thiruvallikeni. In the evening, Sri Ranganatha Perumal adorned green pattu vasthram and had beautiful alangaram with several necklaces, kaasu malai, pendants and flower garlands. Ranganathar blessed devotees in Thayar thirukolam and adorned Krishna’s peacock feather besides surya-chandra ornaments in His kesham and beautifully decorated long Jadai. Grand satrumurai and sevakalam took place with arulicheyal and veda parayana ghosti. Then, Perumal had purappadu on Garudaazhwar in the temple streets. Several astikas participated in the Panguni Uthira Utsavam and had the blessings of Perumal and Thayar.
