Jaya Chitrai Ashwini (28.04.2014) was Day-10 of Viruppan Tirunal. After the first aradhanam of the day was over and Pongal offering was done, there was Tirumanjanam to NamPerumal at Santhana mandapam. After Theertha viniyogam NamPerumal procceeded in purappadu on Tholukuiniyan and procceeded on the Chitra Veedhis in chapparam. This happened at 6.00p.m. Ramanuja Nuttranthathi anusandhanam was done by the Arulicheyal goshti. NamPerumal listens with complete attention so there are no drums or nadhaswarams played. NamPerumal’s dress of bluish green silk made the ornaments clearly visible and the atmosphere was relaxed after the noise and din on the day of the Ther. After completing the rounds NamPerumal proceeded to Thayar Sannidhi where Tiruvehndi kaapu was offered.Then He procceeded to Udayavar sannidhi via the thousand pillared mandapam and accepted raw coconut water offered by Udayavar. Then He proceeded to Moolasthanam after stopping a little away at the dwajasthambham after theertha viniyogam was over. Yagnamurthi who was in the yagha shala was also brought back to the sannidhi. After this dwajavarohanam happened and rakshabandha visarjanam took place.
